The West Wing

日本人にとっての英語って

幼少から英才教育を受けたわけでもなく

親の母国語が英語というわけでもないならば

おおかたの人が中学校の授業の

This is a Pen.（←イメージ的にね）で始まったはず



んでも、人生のうち『これは（1本の）ペンです。』

と言う機会があった人が何人いるのかなぁ

だからこんなT-Shirtデザインされちゃうんだろなぁ


いや、義務教育の授業内容に文句つけてるわけじゃないのです

学校生活が好きなだけで、勉強はあくまで添え物だった

マッコさんにはそんな指摘はできませんから


そのせいで いい大人になってから 副詞って何？ 現在完了は過去分詞？

とか泣きそうになって（いや 泣きながらが正しいか）基礎文法からやった私

（留学までした後にです お父さんごめんなさい

あっでも 聞く方はおかげさまで結構得意です（フォロー））


一般的に言っても あんだけ（義務教育で）時間かけて

使えるようになる英語が これほど（人によると思うけど）のもんなら


その時間を ディベートの授業とかで自分の意見を主張したり ぶつけたり

なんかしら度胸をつける授業とか やっといた方がいいと思うなぁ
（自分に足りないから しみじみ思う）


逆に真の国際人ってやつを生みだして行きたいならば

気休め程度の授業割合じゃなくて 絶対的な量を増やさんことには

実用出来るほどにはならんと思うなぁ


うちの甥っ子はもうすぐ英語と出会うはずなんだけど

どんな授業なのかなぁ


もちろん日本語だって外国語

これから頼ることになる移民の方々には ムヅイだろうなぁ

私でも知らないことだらけだもん 日本語


もうこうなったら『ホンヤクコンニャク』か『催眠術』しかないのでは!!

（結構本気）





あーぁ 前置き（の予定だった）が随分と長くなってしまった


最近身にしみてんのが

この歳になっての苦手分野って 自分からアプローチしない限り

そのままノータッチで 人生終えちゃえるわけなのよねーってこと


確かに不必要と決めちゃえば楽ちんなんだけど

もし必要ならば 歯食いしばってやるっきゃない!!


私にとってのそれは何かって

それは【世の中のこと】つまり 政治であったり 経済であったり

私 色には詳しいですが 世の中のこと もーのすごーく薄っぺらです

それを少しでも解消するために マッコさん

アマゾンでポチッと買いました（便利すぎてお財布が困っている）




『ザ・ホワイトハウス』

(原題"The West Wing") はアメリカ合衆国大統領官邸 ホワイトハウスの

大統領執務室のある 西棟"West Wing"が舞台

アメリカ内外で起こっている実際の事件や問題を参考にして作られ

それらの解決に日々取り組む スタッフと大統領を描いた

リアリティに溢れた政治ドラマなのです

これアメリカでも大人気（だったらしい 誰か知ってる？）


宗教、テロ、貿易、国際関係などなど時事問題が随所に盛り込まれてて

単に英語だけじゃない世の中のことも たくさん知れるという

マッコさんにとって すんばらしい教材なのです!


ちょっと見てみましたら 登場人物たちが次々とよく喋ること

第１話なんて 5秒たりとも隙き間がなかったのでは…ってくらい

夕飯の献立なんて考えようもんなら

一瞬にして話題についていけなくなる


ボキャブラリーだけでも宇宙的に存在するわけだけど

やれ前置詞だ、冠詞だを勉強してても乗り越えられないコトバの壁があるのです

日本語で言う『腹で茶沸かす』みたいな慣用表現とかね

そーゆーのも ドカドカ出てきてます

5回くらい巻き戻して見て 辞書引いて

日本語字幕と照らし合わせて ようやく理解って感じ（汗）



でも 頑張ってついてけば オモシロイ!!

敵に不足なしと思って 見続けたいと思います


ちなみに あのディクショナリー 活躍中

相当頼もしいです♪







Unless you raised with a special education or

have parents who is native English speaker,

you probably met English with this phrase

"This is a pen." at very first time when you were in junior high.

As an ordinary Japanese.


I cannot help wondering how many people really use it

Then I see what this design means.

Points are same I guess.


This is not critic for schools.

I was the person who likes to go to school.

But that wasn't for study at all.

So I shouldn't attack it though.


I should blame myself about why I had to study all grammar again.

Even after I came back from the U.S.

Sorry dad. But I'm strong in catching what they say though.


Generally speaking, we take many looooong years for English,

but we only master poor one.

I suggest that school provide the time not for study study

but for debate or something you can become brave or gutsy.

That what I really feel these days.

On the other hand, if the government really want

to bring up a child to have a international conscience,

it needs massive time and money.


My nephew will meet English soon.

That interests me very much.


Japanese, our mother language, is also foreign language.

Our future hope immigrations from foreign countries

will have hard time to learn Japanese.

I still don't understand some Japanese though.


I'm seriously waiting for somebody

invents Honyaku-Konnyaku or thinking having hypnotism.




I shouldn't write that long for that section.

So much by way of a long introduction.

That mean I will be very short main.


What I wanted to say is,

if you have something you are not good at,

you don't have to touch until you die.

You can hide or runaway from the dislike after

your decision of what you don't need.



But when you feel that it is MUST,

You just do it. No matter what.


This time the MUST came to me.

About the world.

About what is going on the Earth.

Politics, Economies and so on.


I know well about colors but I cannot

say same thing for a current issue.

So I clicked the BUY button on the Amazon.

That site is so useful that my wallet is crying!!


The West Wing.

American TV drama series about people and daily happenings

inside of White house.

This covers current issues like religion, terrorism, trades and

international events.

It is said "The West Wing as Political Commentary".

This is the best text for me who wants to know about the world and

how to use those words in English.


PLUS

Since there are numerous vocabularies like innumerable stars in the sky.

Idiomatic phrases are highest level for me.

Checking very first episode, I was so surprised at the conversations

which continues and never stops.

I have no time to think about the food.


I'll try and keep updating information.

By the way, my dictionary is busily engaged!!

REDPEPPER

本土から桜便りがたくさん届きました そろそろ終わりですかね

みなさん花見とかでお団子とか食べたりしたのでしょうか？

花見というと 連想ゲームでは【お弁当】が絶対一番だと思います（笑）


さてさて一方こちらは早くも梅雨入り、はたまた台風？

最近朝起きてすぐは 部屋にドライをかけることが日課のマッコさん

部屋にある本や雑誌が なんだかしっとりしている今日このごろです


日中は半袖半パンで汗ばむこともありながら

まだオコタでぬくぬくしながら 読書することもしばしば

なんてチャンプルーな日々♪ （慣れるものです）


釣りにはもってこいの気候 にはなっているのだけれども

イマイチ振るわない

それは 今海ではこんなことが起こっているからです






わかるかしら？

ミドリのひらひらが

そう この時期

ワカメちゃんが大発生

してて

お魚が近くによって来ないわ

引っ掛かるわで

釣れやしないのです（怒）











おまけに師匠から借りてた伝説の爆釣ルアー

【レッドペッパー マイクロ】をダツに切られてロスト…（泣）

いいことないしー………









でもこの方は

さくっと釣られておりました

しかもビッグワンだし 何でー？











まぁ それでもお天気なら

エメラルドグリーンの海を

ウォーキングするだけでも

癒されて ゴキゲンです

（ワカメが釣れてるだけだけど）

※別に罰ゲームな格好ではありません











次 NEWお気に入り食品登場!



【沖縄育ちの唐がらし こーれぐーす】 沖縄限定だと思う


沖縄チビ島唐がらしを 泡盛と酢につけた簡単な調味料です

旅行に来たことある人とか 沖縄料理ツウなら

ほぼ必ずお店に置いてあるから 知ってるかな （ソーキそばにかけたりするやつね）


スーパーでタバスコを探しても 見つからなかったので（ほんとにないのー）

かわりにこれを買ってみました


泡盛だけに かけると速攻で 沖縄料理になります パスタでさえ（笑）

でもね一番ヒットだったのは 刻みネギとかつお節をたぁっぷりかけた

冷やっこに これを振りかけると 目が飛び出るほど美味しい おつまみに変身します


ほんとにオススメなんだけど 内地では買えないから ただの自慢…

はは いやいや みなさんにいつかおみやげでお渡ししますね


ちなみに 世に出回っている【こーれーぐーす】はたくさんあれども

こんなミニでかわいい瓶は見たことないよ（嬉）



えっと次 先週ふれた 辞書のその後篇

はい 使っております

だって珍しくこの私が 説明書を熟読しましたから（普段滅多に読まない）

そのおかげもあって順調に活躍中

『アンビリーバボー!!』とか『ヤフー!!』とか

ネイティブ発音を連打して喜んでます

あと液晶が見やすくて驚き! （明朝系フォントが最初違和感あったけど慣れた）

乾電池じゃなくて携帯みたいな充電式なので軽いのも 今のところは好印象

使いこなし度は ★★☆☆☆

まだまだ出来る子なんです 目指せ★五つ!







I've heard a lot about cherry blossom from main land.

Isn't it time to think about the plan of golden week next?

The word of "Cherry blossom viewing" makes me think

"OBENTO" （special lunch in a box）.

If somebody say "Hanami" for a word-association game,

I definitely pick it.

Anyway

Since here is still warm and humid climate,

I feel like the rainy season or typhoon have set in already.

Turn on the switch of air conditioner and dry out rooms

is my daily wake-up task.

Because I don't want my books get wet.

Actually I feel some of them have already got though.....


Warm mild weather lets us ware light clothes,

and we're having good time everyday.

But we still need a KOTATSU for reading.

What a Chanpuru life!! I like a lot though.

I was really surprised at the champuru is now English.

my dictionary said so.....


As this fine season, I know I should mention about fishing.

But it's not very good time.

You know why? Those greens.

The Wakame Seaweeds are bothering us.

Obstruct the way of fish!! oh no.


And what is worse, I lost a borrowed lure of legend

from my master HO, Redpepper Micro.

When I caught a Datsu（needlefish）,

it cut my line and the lure was gone . Noooo!!

Nothing has gone right for me recently........


Regardless of my luckless, he caught this easily........

Big enough! I don't know why.

However, the Ocean heals me under the fine huge blue sky.

Water walking is good for me too.


Next is about my favorite food.

KO-RE-GU-SU

This is a kind of spice which ingredients are awamori, vinegar

and small red pepper.

If you are a lover of Okinawan food or have visited here,

you may know this.

You can see in the restaurant around here.

Commonly, it is for So-ki noodle I guess.


I could not find a Tabasco at grocery store for long time. （really）

So we gave up and bought this instead.


Thanks for Awamori, you can make Okinawan food easily

by putting this magic spice. Even pasta.

The most sensational dish for me was TOFU with

chopped green onion and dried bonito flakes.


You definitely should try this

but I don't think everybody can obtain this easily in main land.

So this time I'm just a boaster.

I'll get and bring this at the time I go back though.

And what I like a lot about this is the size of this bottle.

I know there are so many similar products in grocery stores,

but this is the cutest! I swear.


Of course I write about my dictionary as I told you last week.

Yes I'm using it.

Can you believe I read all the manual of this!!

I'm not A-tipe person. I do everything by intuition.

So I know how to use this one in great detail now.

I'm having fun with the native voice function,

like listening UNBELIEVABLE!! or YAHOO! repeatedly : }

And liquid display is clearer than I've expected.

Very light because It's not replaceable battery-operated.

I have to charge this like a cell phone. Favorable for me.

The level of how much I can use the device is ★★☆☆☆.

I know this has limitless potential.

Five stars will come! I hope....

食いしん坊のマッコさん

食べ物に関しては ほとんど好き嫌いありません

きっとふーちゃんのおかげね



一方 私の脳みそは その反対でして

それはもう 好き嫌いの激しいお方です



とりあえず アンテナはついてるので

なんでも興味を抱いてみるくせに

うっムヅイ とか あっ苦手 などの壁にあたって

脳みそが拒絶し始めると すーぐストライキに入っちゃう厄介者

そうなると 入れ物側の マッコさんは

脳から“眠れ!”という指令を受け 無意識にウトウト…（笑）



好きなデザイン関係の勉強や書物を読む時は

あまりそうならないんだけど

今の私に大切な勉強 “語学” これがですねー

毎日私へ強烈な眠気を連れてくるのですよ（だれかたすけてー）



とくに最近 顕著に現れるのが

これ 英字新聞を読むとき

こないだジャパンタイムズの一週間無料試読を頼んだので

毎日続々とやってくる 総横文字の読み物なんですが

これ 文章＆構成が当たり前にネイティブ標準なので

まぁ 進まないこと 進まないこと!!

頭に入って来ない挙げ句に ウトウトしてるし

同じ段落 何度も何度も何度も 読んでる 哀れな自分がいるわけです



実はつい最近 短期間だけど マッコ人生で一番ってくらい

相当真面目に勉強したので

結構出来るようになったんじゃない的な自負が

自分の中に芽生えていたのです 　が

むー じぇーんじぇーんダメ!!（泣）

歯が立たないとは このことです



まぁ もともとが新聞人間じゃないので

普通に新聞読むことだけでも 脳がしびれてるのかもしんない



しかしですね ここで諦めるのは 昔のマッコさん

NEWマッコさんは 頭を使いました（少しだけ）

どうしたら 読み進めることが出来るのだろう

つまりは

何度読んでも頭に入ってこない →知らない単語が多すぎる

→それには辞書が必要 →電子辞書じゃなきゃおっつかない ってことです


以前持ってた電子辞書 パピルスが壊れてしまってから

語学の勉強も辞書なしでやってました

どうしても知りたいことだけをネットで調べたりして


それは短期集中型ならOKだったけど

さすがに今後生活するには 辞書が必要だなーと

前回のパピルスは 一般向けで 内容も多岐にわたって充実してたけど

せっかく買い替えるのなら 思い切って

専門的に特化してるものにしようと 心に決めとったとです


ずいぶん前から 電子辞書についてネットで調べまくり

機能と値段のバランスも考慮しつつ 何機種かで悩んでいたけど

悩むのにも疲れてしまったので 思い切って 買っちゃいました



パソコンが超お手軽価格になっていく今日このごろ

電子辞書業界には影響がないのか 無視しているのか

たかが辞書のくせして スーパーお値段張ります（ブー）

でも今のマッコには 何が必要かと考えたら これしかなかったです


SEIKOの SR-G10000 英語の辞書ばっかり入ったプロフェッショナルタイプ

（さすがに普通の国語辞典的なものも 最低限は入っとります）

現時点では "THE 宝の持ち腐れ"

でも 肌身離さず 無敵のパートナーとなるべく 使いこなすぞー!!（鼻息）



ちなみにこれ ネイティブ音声つき♪

マッコさん どんなものでも新機能と聞くとよだれが出ます（笑）

使い心地はまた来週にでも



さて 最近食べ物の写真が少ないので ある日のランチをば

ここのところ我が家で大人気の スパムおむすび

ラップをしいたタッパーでご飯と具をサンドイッチして

ぎゅぎゅーっとしたら 海苔を贅沢に巻いて出来上がり♪

このへんのスーパーやコンビニでもよく見かけるけど

どこのもこんな四角形なの 結構食べやすいです


具は 薄焼き卵と 醤油でささっと炒めたスパムに マヨネーズ

この日はアボカドも入れてデラックスです（美味!）



天気の良い日には これとお茶だけ持って遠足です!





As I'm such a gourmand,

there are almost no foods I particularly like or dislike.

Thanks to my mom I guess.


My brain, on the other hand, has strong likes and dislikes.


Since it has an antenna,

I am a person of many interests.

But once I come up against a wall,

like something seems difficult or something I feel I'm not good at,

then I begin to feel sleepy.


It doesn't happen to me when I study or read

about Design things which I have a liking for.

This is serious problem for me

that I cannot study "Language" continuously.

It happens every time I read English News Paper,

I ordered a one-week subscription for free last week.

So full English written readings have been arriving here one after another.

Of course those are native standard NP.

Reading and understanding paragraphs and contents

are task of great difficulty.

I just cannot read it easily, it is so hard to understand.

Although Reading same sentence repeatedly,

a full understanding never comes.

Eventually I found myself that I feel sleepy.

What a miserable Makko.

Even though I went to study overseas,

I couldn't overcome the language barrier.



Until recently, I have studied this language very hard.

I can say it was the most serious period for study in my life.

It made me have a kind of self-confidence.

But it is too much for me.


As I'm not a NP person originally even in Japanese,

my brain may get tired of reading the printed word.


I know I don't give up this time.

I'm not what I used to be though.

Forcing my weak brain to work, I came up with the idea.

Dictionary!!


My former electronic dictionary had broken sometimes ago.

I haven't used dictionary when I study since then.

I checked on the Internet that I had to find out.


The style of studying was OK for short term,

however, I need one for life.

The previous one was a functional for wide basic information.

Since I'm finally getting into the spirit of it,

I had made the decision to get more professional one.


I've studied about the device since then.

There are so many kinds that I couldn't decide only one easily.

Because I got tired of figuring out which one I should pay,

I just bought it!!


How come this is sooooo expensive

while PC is getting cheaper and cheaper these days.

They are just ignoring the industry or this recession or what!!

Still what I need now is nothing but this.


SR-G10000 by SEIKO

This is a professional type which includes plenty of English dictionary.

It also has some minimal Japanese dictionaries though.

For the present, this is of little account in my hands.

I sure know if you have fine device but don't actually use it,

it's a waste of a valuable asset.

Those words have struck home. Painfully true!

I swear to try and use small this efficiently, and then I learn more.


In this connection it speaks with native pronunciation.

Makko is awfully fond of NEW FUNCTIONS!!

I let you know how it works maybe next week.


Haven't put the photo of food we eat these days.

How about this? This is lunch of one day.

We love Spam rice ball recently.

Wrap the tupperware, put rice and ingredients.

Flat sweetened omelet and soy-flavored fried spam.

Of course Mayo and luckily I found Avocado in fledge this time.

Push firmly, and then wrap seaweed. Done!

I found this food is square formed anywhere around here.

It's lovely.

When weather is fine, we often go on picnic

to the beach with this lunch!!

ま 正式にはカフェインですかね

高校生のころ イギリスの紅茶に感動して以来

カフェインと言えばミルクティー派だったんだけど

その後アメリカでスタバ的カフェに通ううち（安いのよね）

すっかりコーヒー派になってました（出た 順応タイプ）


基本はカフェインバリバリが好みですが

常飲しすぎると 頭や目やらがギンゴンガンゴンするし

ここ数年 良質な睡眠に“おもき”を置いている

眠り姫マッコにとって 夕方以降のカフェインは禁物


とは言え 夕べの読書タイムに必須なのは コーヒーでしょー

そんな時はこれ



90%カフェインカットのインスタントコーヒー

“ネスカフェ テスターズチョイス デカフェ”

原産国は韓国だけど 生豆生産国はコロンビア・ベトナム

味も香りも満足レベルで 読書もはかどります（＜眠気の場合もあり）


これ広島で見たことなかったけど

沖縄では何処にでもあるの

ネスレのより安くて量が多くて

ちょとモカっぽくて美味しい

ここらへんのスーパーの安売りだと700円くらいで買えるんだけど

ネットショッピングだと1500円だって! 驚いた

（800円代でも高いブーって言ってたからさ）


お次はアダルトなお飲物（笑）

見かけ酒豪なマッコさん（よく言われます…）

確かにうちの父は自他ともに認めるお酒好き

エタノールでもいいかもくらい（笑）

でもその血を受け継いだのは３人兄弟で下の兄１人だけ（あみだくじ形式）

つまりワタクシこう見えて めっぽう酒に弱いです


でもね カラダが大量には受けつけないだけで

基本お酒は好きなんです♪

20歳過ぎた（随分昔に）大人だもん

ちょっとくらいは飲みたいさー

ちなみに酔っぱらうとマッコさんは

にっぽんのサラリーマン的に陽気度アップ↑です（余談）


もちろんスーパーには

数え切れないほどの泡盛が並んでいます

が　 泡盛だと本気すぎて 楽しむ前に辛くなる…

そんなわたしたちの愛飲酒はもっぱらこれ



“PRIME DRAFT”

ネーミングや ラベルデザインには触れること不可です


でも これね 350ml缶1本80円代の超安価なのに

結構いけるの 決して水っぽい感じじゃなくてさ

のどごしも楽しめる（ような気がする）し


今日ネットで見て 初めて知ったんだけど

このシリーズは 韓国No.1ビールメーカー“HITE”が

日本市場向けに開発したいわゆる 第3のビールなんだって


たまに日本メーカーのも買ってみたりするんだけど

値段だけじゃなくて 味的にもこっちに戻ってきちゃう

日本のはコマーシャルとかパッケージとか

コンセプトにこだわりすぎて やたらめったら種類が多いけど

総じて値段が高い!! （恐れ多くも広告を斬りましたよ）


その点 これはコスパ高くて オススメなので

イオン系スーパー行ったら １本買ってみてね


さてっと 熱く語ったら のど渇いたので

プハーっとやってから グガーっと寝まーす







Let me introduce my favorite products which I've found these days.

I wrote about it on my profile that I'm a big lover of coffee.

In a word, I cannot live without caffein: caffeinism.

When I was in high school, caffein meant "TEA".

Because I was impressed by English Tea at that time.

Then my taste had changed and the meaning had became "Coffee"

while paid frequent visits to Starbucks style CAFE. （big and less）

However, I do like caffein, it gives you caffein rush when you take too much.

And another thing, I place a lot of emphasis on

getting some decent and high quality sleep in late years.

That sleeping beauty Makko shouldn't take those poisoning in the evening!


Nevertheless, the readers might want something to drink except alcohol.

I think reading and sipping a cup of hot coffee are made for each other.

So I drink this in the evening instead of regular one.

90% decaffeinate Instant coffee.

"Taster's Choice Decafe"

This is another pleasure of reading for me.

Now you may lose yourself in reading. （and drowsy comes....）


Although I've never seen this in Hiroshima, I see everywhere here.

It's much larger in quantity and cheaper than Nesle one.

Tastes little bit moca, I mean it's good.

My price point is under ￥700 on supermarket bargain days.

Surprisingly, I saw the price ￥1500 on the internet shopping.

Maybe I should buy it even price is over ￥800....


Next up is Drink for adults!!

Despite my appearance （don't know why）, I'm a light drinker.

Yes, My father drinks like a fish that he could drinks even ethanol!

And one of my brother inherited the DNA.

The remainder of my family is not like them.

I guess my body cannot tolerate much alcohol.

But I still like to drink.

Since we are granted special privilege, I really like to enjoy that.

As an aside, I become a laughing and talking drunk like a typical salaried worker.

I am sure that a couple of those kinds of drinks will bring me into life : )


Of course there are bunch of Awamori at the drink section of

supermarkets around here.

Awamori, a kind of shochu made in Okinawa, is enjoyed by many for its very

distinctive flavor and high alcohol content (40 to 50%)

It's too strong for us that we cannot enjoy the time before headaches come.

This is when PRIME DRAFT is considered of value.

I avoid talking about name and design!!


This is cheaper than cheap!!

Only ￥88 for a can of beer.

Still you can appreciate the taste of the first draught of beer,

I noticed today that Prime Draft is the third kind of beer which is

developed only for Japanese market by "HITE"

No,1 beer manufacture in Korea.


Sometimes we drink Japanese one.

But we return to PD for the reason not only the price but tastes.

Japanese manufactures produce a mad number of those drinks

Most of them are aware of market too much like commercials,

packages and concepts, but prices are high as a whole brands!!

Did I【criticize】 advertising industry? Wow, who RU!


In this respect, PD is worth buying.

You should check when you go to AEON affiliated store.


After talking passionately about my favorites,

now I feel like a beer.

I'll beer it up and sleep soundly!!

最近は海洋研究のため 下ばっかり見てますが

わたくし実はとっても空ズキなんです



なんで？どうして？

と聞かれても 即答出来ないことの多い

自他共に認める超感覚人間ですが

空ズキな理由は固いです



それは色ズキだから

いつぞや 小さい頃から

絵の具を混ぜくりこねていた話をしたけれど

それもやはり色ズキから来ているのだと思います


昔から色に対して随分とこだわりがありました

図画工作の時間に 校庭の銀杏の木の紅葉を写生するとき

葉っぱは20種類くらいの緑で塗ってました（笑）

まぁ時間のかかること…


あの時代 女の子のランドセルが赤だけでよかった


とにかく そのまま大人になってしまったので

こだわるのはいいんだけど

仕事の時大変! モノクロだと楽だったこと（笑）



色ズキだから空ズキ わかるかな？

空はですねぇ 青いだけではないのですよぉ

それはもう言葉では言い表せないほどの表現力を

お持ちなんですよ


ふと見上げるたびに別な表情を見せてくれる

それが人工的でないってところが

とにかく魅力的なの



カナダやアラスカで見られるオーロラは

レアだしそりゃもう感動的なんだろうけど

自分たちを覆ってる ごくごく普通の空も

結構いい仕事してんですよー



美術館で絵画を鑑賞するのも大好きだけれど

ぽーーっと たまらん色ぐあいの空を見上げるのは

一生やめられない趣味だと思います




The sky is the limit.

直訳は空が限界って意味だけど

空には境界がないので 無限の可能性ってこと

いま頑張っていることに 可能性や成功のチャンスがたくさんある

そんなときは まさに The sky is the limit.




I've been watching under the water these days for my study of Ocean,

but actually I'm an enthusiast of sky.


Why? How come?

Since I decide everything instinctively,

I usually cannot answer quickly or don't have reason for those question.


But this time I do have a firm belief for sky.


Because I'm crazy about colors.

As I did write here that I was a kid

who was always mixing paints.

That because I love colors I guess.


When I was very young, I was stickler for colors.

I painted leaves over 20 kinds of green in art class!

It really took time though......


I deeply appreciate there was only

RED schoolchild's satchel for girls at that time.


Anyway I was like that and I grown up just like that.

You can say it's good way you do something enthusiastically,

but I had been swamped with color determining work all day long.

I didn't take time for Black and White work, it was so easier for me.



A lover of colors means a lover of sky, don't get it?

Sky is not being only blue!!

The power of expression of sky is indescribable or inexpressible.


Every time you look up the sky, it gives you different face.

Not artificial but natural.

I am attracted to that a lot.


I do understand and agree that an aurora is very rare and unusual.

But our sky is still great here or there.


It goes without saying that I love to going to

museum and viewing works of art.

I cannot stop looking high up at the well colored sky vacantly.

I'll enjoy it to the end of my life!!

Spoon OJISAN♪

あっついよ なんなのこの蒸し暑さは

こちらもうすでに夏です

どうやら春は終わったらしいです

だって温度計が27度とか言ってますもの

部屋の中にいたって汗ばんじゃうんだよ

もちろんすでに 半袖半パン生活始まってます



さてさて すっかり夏気分ということで

これまた絵に書いたような空と海を目の前にして

誰がじっとしていられるのかしら

お魚釣りは いまや私にとって

切っても切れないものとなっているようです

だって 熱意ってやつが自分の中に見えてきてさ（ここは浜ちゃん風に）

だいたい私の長所は根気があることでしょ

そう考えると 釣りは私に向いているわけですよ やった!

そんなマッコさん 今週とってもついていました


タコに カマスベラに 見たことないのに ミーバイに

いろーんな魚に出会えました

活性が上がってるおかげで ぺこぺこ魚があちこちで泳ぎ回ってる状態


今週の私のターゲット魚は オジサン

外道に属して あんまり喜ばれないみたいなんだけどさ

それでも長いこと釣りたいと思っていたわけです

そんなある日 HO師がうちの近場で 連続4オジサン!!

しかも不人気ルアー ピンクでかわいい（だけで釣れなかった）スプーンを使って

だので 忘れかけていた オジサンへの想いがよみがえって来て

釣りたくてしょうがなくなっていたのです

オジサンって ぷぷぷ って思うでしょ

鯉に似てて でも立派なお髭があるので オジサン

【ピンクでかわいいスプーンが オジサンを魅了!!】

【これはまさにスプーンオジサン】

このシチュエーションが 妙に気に入ってしまって

もし私が釣ったら スプーンおばさんだーとか

ものすごくしょうもないけど ものすごく楽しい妄想をしていました


↑はいこれが噂の“オジサン” おかげさまで 本日

1オジサンと楽しいひとときを過ごすことができました♪



さて 別の日の話 REDPEPPER MICROで ついにイカまで釣ってしまいました

驚くべきことは イカ釣り用のエギじゃなくて

いつも使ってる トップウォーターのルアーで来た!

最初ミーバイだと思ったけど 結果は

食味五つ星★★★★★と言われる アオリイカでした


持って帰ったかどうかなんて 聞かなくても


もちろん お持ち帰りし 料理し 食しましたとも


ゲソの唐揚げ（隣のアジも釣ったよ）


イカソーメン

オイスターソース炒めも美味しかった♪

釣り人の特権 新鮮なお魚を食せること

これがたまらなく嬉しくて 当分やめられそうにないです



最近釣り以外にやったことも少し

年に1度の大陶器市 やちむん祭りに行って来ました

無駄遣いは敵なので コーヒーカップを２つだけ


陶器を見ると 京都にいる陶芸家の友 チエミちゃんを思うのです

彼女は私の好みをよぉくご存知だし

近々 彼女の作る食器を使うのが楽しみです よろしくねー♪






I don't know the temparature is over average or not

I'm experiencing hot and humid days recently.

Since the thermometer said 27°C, my perspiration system is full working

even inside the house.

You can say Makko you're so obsolete,

but NO turmoils or predicaments, I'm relatively happy.

We cannot stay inside of the quarters ignoring the picturesque sky and ocean.

Going fishing is now indispensable for me.

Instead of social dedication, I'm getting stuck in fishing this week : )

I found myself that avid and enthusiastic angler.

My strength lies in persistence.

That means I'm cut out for the fishing. ThanXX!!

I'm in luck, cause I caught pretty much fish this week.

Thanks for vigorous fish, I see fish foraging and rolling down

in famine conditions.

My target of this week was OJISAN which belong to unwelcome disgraceful fish.

But still I'd been hoping to see OJISAN for long time.

Then Mr.HO caught 4 OJISAN a day in our territory.

By using unpopular leveled Pink Cute Spoon!

So I started to think about OJISAN and couldn't wait to see him.

It is called OJISAN from their appearance.

It looks like a carp and has a mustache.

Pink, Cute Spoon attracts OJISAN!! Spoon OJISAN.

I really liked that. And imagined if I catch him I could become

Spoon OBASAN!! It is hoax anyway.

Fortunately, I got one today!! Thankxx again.


Another day, I finally caught a squid by using of Redpepper micro.

What astounded me was I didn't use EGI ; specialized lure for squid.

I thought it was Mi-bai but resulted in better way

the five-star oval squid★★★★★.

Needn't if I take it to home. I sure did and fixed, even had it.

I love this privileges, so I won't stop doing this.

Let me talk other thing I did recently.

I went to Yachimun Festival which is a big pottery sale held yearly.

Since I shouldn't be extravagant, I settled for two coffee cups.

That event made me think my friend Chiemi who is also a ceramic artist.

She does know my preferences.

So I'm looking forward to using her potteries very soon though!!

Magical Obmout

苺がお手頃になったので 久しぶりに作りました

自作すると 買うよりたくさん食べれるのが これまた嬉しいのです


クイジナートさんはあいかわらず 不調もなく大活躍中です

でもクイジナートさんにもできなかったことがありました

それは ケーキスポンジ生地の泡立て…

材料を入れてガーーーッと混ぜたものの 回転数が少ないみたいで

液状からいっこうに変化なし…

爪楊枝が立てるくらいに生地を泡立てないと

ふっくらしっとりスポンジにならないので

さすがに ハンドミキサーに選手交代しました

でも ふくらみが今イチだったなー 根性足らずかしら


タマネギと数種の調味料で作った 即席ドレッシングも美味しかったし

ケーキを作った余りの桃・ミカン・苺を冷凍して

生クリームとガーッとやった アイスクリームもラブリーテイストでした♪

混ぜっこマッコさん まだまだ飽きない様子です（笑）



“マジカルオブモウト”

夢の中に出て来た 架空の食べ物（夢でも食べ物って…）


イメージ的には まさにこんな感じなの! シリアルバーね

あまりに鮮明な記憶として残ってたので

何か近いものがないかなとネットで探してたら 分かったんだけど

こういうの今　アメリカで流行ってるみたいです ふーん

朝ご飯に これとコーヒー みたいな…

わたくし 絶対朝ご飯派なので ちょっと気になりました

ちなみに obmoutってデンマーク語があるらしいんだけど

意味が分からない…（悲）

これじゃ夢占い出来ないじゃん（笑）



話飛びまくりだけど 最近の初体験

長年いまいち 見る気がしなかった映画

“ゴッドファーザー”


どうして見る気がしなかったかと言うと

広島の暴走族が夜な夜な鳴らしていた パーララ パラ パラパラパラパー♪

あのイメージしかなかったから

でもとうとう見る機会に恵まれました

シリーズ３編を三日間で見たの（BSでやってた♪）

見終わっての感想は… もう一回見たい…

マフィアって　仁義なき…とは ちょと違うのよ

家族愛の結晶ですよ あれはまさに

やー ゾッキー なかなかシブいじゃーん とか思っちゃった（笑）

詳しくはまたの機会にでも…




Since the prices of strawberries are now lowered, I baked a cake.

I usually make by myself, for I can eat alot!


It wasn't a very special occasion,

but you can't go wrong with strawberry shortcake anyway.


My cuisinart still doesn't have any glitch troubles.

But I finally found it difficulty that it cannot beat the egg mixture.

I started the machine but it didn't change the liquid to cream.

To bake sponge moist and fully, you have to beat well.

So I changed the tool to hand-mixer.

I wasn't satisfied with the result of baked sponge.

I guess it was because not enough time or concentration.


We enjoyed fresh-made dressing by onion and many kinds of spices.

I made and tasted fruits ice cream made by frozen fruits which were leftover.

It was really lovely taste, and I definately try again.

For a while, my enthusiasm for mixing something won't be go anywhere.



At times I dream a little while I sleep.

"Magical Obmout" was in my dream that seemed imagination food.

This is the closest image I dreamed. It still lingers my brain.

I found these kind of bars seem to be big business these days in the U.S.

I honestly am a breakfast person so it took long time to search.

Obmout seems to be used in Denmark,

but I don't know how to find the meaning.

I cannot tell fortunes by dream..... help!!

About my latest First experience.

I could finally watched the movie of "GodFather".

What GodFather reminds me was always "Bo-so-zoku" ,

yankees who ride bikes and drive recklessly with that sound.

Now time had come for me because BS showed all 3 series on 3 consecutive nights.

What I say after I saw those... I wanna see those again!!

You Must See it!!!

It tells us the tale of a Mafia family and their struggles

to keep up with the changing times,

and at the same time to value their own morals about family and friendship.

This is an excellent movie, the cast ensemble is perfect and the subtle

characterization of Michael Corleone played by Al Pacino is beyond recognition.

Marlon Brando kicks up a great acting as

the Godfather and at the same time a family man.

I should input this another time...

55歳の料理好きな カールおじさんが

フランスの調理器具ショーで出会った

レストラン業務用の下ごしらえ機に魅了されて


その後２年 奥さんと二人で改良に改良を重ね

初の家庭用フードプロセッサーとして発表したところ

全米で大絶賛され アメリカ人の料理と食生活を変えた…

うちのフープロくんも不調ひとつなく 立派です

おトクな鶏肉をミンチにして 鶏餃子（皮も）とか団子も作ったし

今晩はホールコーンをクイジナートでみじんにして

中華コーンスープ作った（メインは酢豚ね）


ちょっとクイジナートに興味を持ってたら

12カップまでサーブ出来る ミニコーヒーサーバーを発見


タイマー付きだし 中のタンクも取り出し洗い出来るらしい


小さいけど 本物のホットケーキが焼けたおもちゃ

“ママキッチン” 大好きマッコさんは

こういうのに目がないのです

円高の影響で １万円以内で手に入るらしいの

今後のウィッシュリスト入り♪


ママキッチンで連想するとこっちの方が近い？？


こうゆうのも大好き （昔から単なる食いしん坊なのかも疑惑）

でもアイスの色とか形とか ちょっと感覚違うよね

アイスクリームサーバーも iParenting Media Awardって

アメリカで権威ある賞を受賞してんだよ ふふ


グッドデザインといえば 日本のも気になるわけで

行ってみましたら オドロキの事実が!!

いろんな意味で 私の目指すところです

I like it!

My foo-pro works without any malfunction.

I can personally attest to its reliability and performance of

I made chicken chinese dumpling {from the dough}, chicken ball.

We had chinese corn soup for dinner

which I minced a can of wholecorn by using a Cuisinart.

Main dish was SUBUTA though, I could cook deep fry!

This is very interesting that it seem we have little bit

different sense of color and shape.

Good design, functional and affordable.

That is my objective in every sense.

Worn Out Slippers

春が来ぃたぁ 春が来ぃたぁ


うぐいすが 桜の枝先をチュンチュンと揺らして

日差しはぽかぽか 風もおだやか

これが2月はじめのお話なんだからねー

おかげさまで 春眠暁… 状態で 日々眠いこと!


しかも 最近ほとんど雨ふってないときた


世界的にもかなり綺麗（美ら海ね）ってのは知ってたけど

ここ南国の島々の 平均気温が23度ってのが

今になって身にしみてます 素ん晴らしくあったかくて

今日まさにその平均温度だったんだもん


そんな陽気に 恩恵を受けているマッコさん


あっ でもね 釣り部門は ちっともです

今週なんて 一匹たりともですよ…（エソすら…）


お魚さんには遊んでもらえなかったけど こないだ

久しぶりに みごとな夕日を拝むことができました（美）



おうちに 引き蘢るのも結構好きなんだけど

さすがにこんなに天気がいいと おでかけしなくては

てなわけで ご近所では手に入らないものを求めて お買い物へ!



ドライブがてら向かったのは インテリアショップ

ここはかわいいのに 使い勝手がよさそうなアイテムがわんさかなのです

モノだらけで 楽しい〜♪


しかも 在庫処分セール中ときたもんだ!!

50%とか かなり割引されてる掘り出し物もあるみたいぃ


今日のミッションは “スリッパさん”


覚えてるかしら… そうです

ここは今つかってるお気に入り ひまわり麦わらスリッパを買ったとこなの


↑そんなひまわりスリッパも みごとな履き古しっぷりで 穴もあいて ボロボロさん

つまりは そろそろ買い替え時ってことよね（キッパリ）



ここに来れば 私の安カワ精神を裏切らない

お気に入りが見つかるんではないかと 期待大のマッコさん


しばしうろうろした結果 いくつか候補を発見（２種類だけなんだけどね）

お値段拝見したら なんと370円!! やすー さっすがー


でも 驚くのはまだ早くてよ 実はこれレジに持ってったら

おばちゃんが「150円になります」って……

そんなに引いていいのかしら って心配するくらいプリティプライスでした

そんなわけで なんと150円ぽっきりで ニュースリッパ買えたさー♪（嬉）


お皿洗い用ブラシも買ったんだ（嬉）


結構長い時間 探索して楽しんだけど 全ては見きれてないかなー

なんせ イスだけでもたーくさんあるんだよ

どれでもひとつだけ持ってっていーよって言われたら

木製のスツール色違い二脚かなー（ひとつじゃないし…）

結構お高くて 今は手が出ないけど いつかあーゆうの欲しいな（妄想中）


そんなわけで ゴキゲンで帰路につき

今日も楽しく1日を終えたのでありました

Spring has arrived here!!


The bush warbler sings and dances on the cherry branch.

The sunlight is warm, the breeze gentle,

as if I'm experiencing those of the April or May.

I'm apt to oversleep. Drowsiness will never be gone.


Besides, there is little or no precipitation these days.


I've known the Okinawan islands are some of the most beautiful

to be found anywhere in the world.

I am now really understanding this island has average temperature of 23℃,

and wonderfully warm weather. Today I spent "the average" day.


I am defenitely taking advantage of it.


But I have to mention that this is not about fishing at all.

I haven't caught any fish this week.


Instead of playing with big fish, we could catch the great sunset view.

It was so amazing and beautiful due to sunny clear weather in this week!!


Although I like staying at home, we knew we should go out under this weather.

We decided to go shopping in search of some goods we cannot obtain around here.


The place we drove is a home furnishig store

that offers well-designed and useful interior items.

I LOVE this place!!


Surprisingly, they were on Inventory Reduction Sale.

Many items in the shop was offered at a substantial discount!!

50% or more of the list price of the items contained within.


The thing I had to buy is : Slippers


Do you remember? Yes!!

This is the place last time I bought favorite ones.


Worn out slippers

That means "It is about time I got new ones." I say.

So I was looking forward to finding something like those.

They have to be "Cheap but still Cute" （in Japanese Yasu-Kawa）.


Fortunately, I could find some.（actually were only two kinds）.

I checked the price and it said ￥370.

Wow, these are ones. So I did take those to the cashier.

The cashier said to me "It is gonna be a hundred fifty yen."

￥150!!! Only I paid. What the nice world it is!! Happy♪

I bought a brush for dishes also.


We explored and enjoyed the shop for a long time but we couldn't see all.

There are bunch of!!

If I could take home any piece from the shop

it would definitely wooden stools. (you said ONE though.）


I can't really afford it right now but yes I am going to!

We spent good quality time anyway.


Since I wrote too long that, I couldn't entry about Cuisinart today. Sorry!!

Bloomin Bloomin!!

こないだ 寒いからって “日本の四季を楽しむべきだ”

とか書いたけど あれ やっぱ取り消します


だって ここのところ 寒風どこへやら…

ぽかぽか春の陽気にあふれてるんです

ふと歩けば ご近所の桜が超満開!!（驚）


真冬のはずのこの時期に こんなものを見るなんて なんだか妙な気分だけど

よくよく自分のいる場所を 地球儀的に考えてみるとー

これ全くもって普通のことなのですよね

そこで 気を取り直して もう一度じっくり見てみると わー ビューテホー♪

でもね かつて平和公園でビール片手に 宴しながら

眺めていた なんともいえず控えめな あの桜とは なんだか違う


うーん たぶん 色です 色 ここのは随分と桃色なのね

やっぱ 桜だって 自己主張しないと 南国植物に存在感負けしちゃうのね

と勝手な解釈で納得しました


春うららとは 裏腹に 魚は釣れませんこと…

桜と時同じくして 海ではワカメちゃんたちが 猛烈な勢いで育っていまして

食べれるのかは まだ確かめていないんだけどね

この あたり一面 若緑な絨毯のせいで いつもの浅い場所では

ちっとも釣れなくなっちゃって ブーなのです あーあ


そうそう その後のクイジナート情報ですね（聞いてない？）

本日のスペシャル パーティーディナーは


ホットプレート ほぼ全面使用の 超特大お好み焼（ねぎかけ）!!

ひっくり返しは ハラハラドキドキだったけど 超上出来でしょ

ちなみにソースは 今回から“カープソース”に シフトチェンジ

これね 広島のお好み焼屋さんの半数が使用していると思われる

知る人ぞ知る 隠れた逸品ですのよ ふふ

キャベツ切ったり いりこを粉末にしたりと

今日もクイジナートさんは大活躍でした

ちなみにシェフはやっぱりHOさん マッコは食べる専門♪

ごちでしたー♪ ハピー♪






Having written in this blog two weeks ago, ahem,

"I should respect the clearly defined seasons",

I now should eat my words.

Chilly air has completely gone, and there is a feeling of spring in the air these days.

I walked and found surprisingly that the cherry trees are already in full bloom now

in the neighborhood of our place.

It is kind of strange what I see in this middle of winter.

But when you think where the on earth you are standing,

it is normal to see this scene at all.

So this time closely, I tried to watch the blooming tree again.

How beautiful!!!

Something is different from what I used to have fun with

a can of beer at Peace Memorial Park....

Those were defies to description. Unobtrusive?

Probably the color of petals made me feel so.

That of here are More pinky.

I guess you need some self-assertion to survive here in southern island.

Satisfied myself at my discretion.



Contrary to the Spring weather,

there aren't plenty of fish we can catch.

At the same time, seaweeds are growing so vigorously in the Ocean.

I haven't made sure which is eatable or not.

Because of the fresh green carpet,

we cannot catch any of them in shallow area, boo!!



Oh, I should tell about the Cuisinart.

Let me tell this even no one listen to me...

We made a huge Okonomiyaki for today's special party dinner.

It was exciting when we turned it over. Yummy huh .

We changed the sauce for "Carp Sauce" tonight.

This is the choice of professional stores though.

Shredding cabbage, crushing dried small sardines to powder,

Cuisinart is active in our kitchen!!
